On Friday, March 7, former Woodlawn High School standout Jamar Whitehead’s current college team, the Coppin State Eagles, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercyhurst Lakers.

The game took place at Mercyhurst Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 12 p.m. at Mercyhurst Baseball Field against Mercyhurst Lakers.
