Garrison Forest School issued the following announcement on Feb. 10.
Thank you to Zoey Washington ’00, who spoke to our 7th Graders as part of the Women of Impact speaker series. Zoey, who is now VP of Content at Jellyfish, explained how a lifelong passion for fashion and a drive to learn and explore new avenues led her to roles as a fashion editor for magazines like Vogue, Essence, Marie Claire, In Style and Elle; as a content creator for Bravo TV; as a featured style content creator; and as an entrepreneur.
She spoke about the importance of being open to new opportunities, the importance of internships and learning and taking pride in your work. Thank you, Zoey, for this fun and fascinating talk!
