About 21.5 percent of the 452 degrees and certificates handed out by the Goucher College in 2016-17 were to students in Education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency’s National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Baltimore conferred 73 master’s degrees and 18 certificates in Education programs.
But the single most popular program was for a master’s degree in Education, General. Data shows the school gave out 45 master’s degrees in Education, General, followed by 38 bachelor’s degrees in Psychology, General and 28 master’s degrees in Secondary Education and Teaching.
The college enrolled 2,172 students for 2016-17, including 1,473 in undergraduate programs and 699 in graduate programs.
