About 14.9 percent of the 5,829 degrees and certificates handed out by the Towson University in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency’s National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Towson conferred 619 bachelor’s degrees and 206 master’s degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Data shows the school gave out 515 bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Management, General, followed by 329 bachelor’s degrees in Psychology, General and 272 bachelor’s degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.

The university enrolled 22,343 students for 2016-17, including 19,198 in undergraduate programs and 3,145 in graduate programs.
