On Wednesday, March 5, former Loyola Blakefield Preparatory High School standout Wyatt Mummert’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Alabama State Hornets.
The game took place at Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Hornets this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field against Southern Jaguars.
