Ava McKennie, who made her mark at McDonogh School and now plays basketball for the Maryland Terrapins, is set to take part in the NCAA Tournament.

The Terrapins secured a No. 5 seed and will face the 12th seeded Murray State Racers in their opening round contest.

The first-round game is slated for Friday, March 20, at 2 p.m. at the Dean E. Smith Center.
