Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers claimed a 13-6 win over the Norfolk State Spartans in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup Friday, Feb. 27, at 3 p.m. Former Calvert Hall College High School player Nathan Rodriguez contributed to the victory.

Marty L. Miller Field was the setting for the game, marking the first time the Mountaineers faced the Spartans this season.

Rodriguez pitched 0.2 innings, tallying one walk and striking out one batter.

The Mountaineers are set to play the Spartans again Saturday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m. at Marty L. Miller Field.
