On Wednesday, March 12, former Hereford High School standout Cecil Barone’s current college team, the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, lost 13-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisville Cardinals.

The game took place at Jim Patterson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Golden Grizzlies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 3 p.m. at Nischwitz Stadium against Wright State Raiders.
