On Saturday, March 8, former Sparrows Point High School standout Mark Shelley’s current college team, the Davis & Elkins Senators, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Chain of Lakes Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Senators’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 1 p.m. at Wild Things Park against California Vulcans.
