Stevenson University issued the following announcement on July 3.

Stevenson Students, Parents, and Alumni,

We have been alerted to a phishing scam circulating on Facebook and via recorded phone messages that are promoting student loan forgiveness to SU students and alumni. The FB ad post uses an unauthorized image of a Stevenson sign. Do not click or share any information via this Facebook ad or via the phone. These are not official communications from Stevenson and are a phishing scam to get your personal information. We are reporting this information to Facebook as well.
