Baltimore County Government issued the following announcement on Aug. 9.
An assessment conducted this by Baltimore County Emergency Management officials in eastern Baltimore County does not reflect any severe or long-term flooding damage. However, fire and rescue crews responded to approximately six calls involving motorists requesting assistance, but there were no water rescues required. Additionally, four to six homes in Middle River may have suffered some flooding damage.
Safety is always our first priority and we will continue to respond as quickly as possible to any events requiring emergency assistance.
Please remember to always call Baltimore County’s Department of Public Works (DPW), Bureau of Highways 410-887-3560 to report problems with storm drainage in your community.
