Upperco Volunteer Fire Company issued the following announcement.
The Upperco Volunteer Fire Company is a small volunteer fire company located on the Maryland Route 30 corridor, between Hampstead and Reisterstown. The Upperco Volunteer Fire Company staffs at both the ALS and BLS level. EMT’s and Medic’s are hired to provide EMS service to Upperco from 7am – 5pm and 5pm – midnight, 7 days a week, with competitive pay rates. Requirements:
Valid Maryland State EMT-B or higher
Cleared to function in Baltimore County Fire Department
Valid Maryland Class "C" Drivers License
Minimum 18 years or older
Hazmat Awareness/Operations
Blood Bourne Pathogens
NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800
EVOC
Must pass a medical examination
Must be of good moral character, as determined by a background investigation and periodic drug testing
Additional requirements may exist, and will be discussed at further stages in the pre-employment process.
