Baltimore County Department of Health and Human Services has full- and part-time vacancies for experienced Public Health Nurses. These positions have generous leave and benefit packages. Most positions are Monday through Friday with little or no evening or weekend work.
Our nurses have a variety of assignments in the agency including working with pregnant women, families with young children, breastfeeding mothers, clients in Baltimore County Health Centers focusing primarily on family planning and sexually transmitted diseases; patients with active tuberculosis and those in need of preventive care; and patients with complex behavioral health issues, such as substance abuse and mental health issues. Nurses may work in a clinical setting or make home visits as part of their work day.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
