Baltimore County Health Department issued the following announcement on April 2.
The Baltimore County Freezing Weather Shelter plan will be activated Monday night (4/1/2019). Residents in need of shelter to avoid extreme night time cold conditions should be directed to the Eastern Family Resource Center or Westside Men's Shelter who will expand capacity during the activation. The Freezing Weather Shelter activation begins at 6:00 p.m. this evening and continues through 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Guests are asked to arrive for intake at each shelter between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. during activation. Callers should be directed to the Department of Social Services' Information, Referral and Screening line at 410-887-TIME (8463), Option 1 during regular business hours or the Baltimore County DSS After Hours call service at 410-583-9398 outside of regular business hours. #shelter
