Baltimore County recently issued the following announcement.
Baltimore County invites non-profit organizations, government agencies and the general public to a meeting to discuss upcoming funding opportunities and spending priorities for community development programs. A public hearing will be led by the Department of Planning and will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2019, in the Towson Room (ground level) of the Towson Public Library, 320 York Road, Towson, Maryland, 21204.
The focus of the public hearing will be the public service needs of low-income citizens in the areas of employment, child care, health, education, substance abuse and welfare; homeless service needs in preventing homelessness or assisting those currently homeless; and community development efforts, including housing efforts, that address the needs of low- to moderate-income citizens.
Following the public hearing the Department will hold a pre-bid conference at which it will provide detailed instructions on the following Requests for Proposal (RFP): Capital; Homeless Services; and Public Services.
