Essex home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Essex rose by $13,500 while total sales decreased by 14.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 277 homes sold, with a median sale price of $159,000 - a 9.3% increase over the $145,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 323 homes sold in Essex in the second half of 2018.
