The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate John Peter Spyros Sarbanes, John Sarbanes for Congress, refunded $550 to Cynthia Knight on September 22, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

According to the FEC data, the following reason was listed for the refunded expenditure: 'Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company'.

John Sarbanes for Congress refunded $980 total since April 1.
