Baltimore County ranked 12th in Maryland for resident earnings in 2018

Baltimore County ranked 12th among counties in Maryland by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Baltimore County residents was $37,266 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 312,913 households with a population of 827,625.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Howard County with $55,253 per year after adjusting for inflation – $17,987 more than Baltimore County. It had 112,966 households with a population of 315,327.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Somerset County with $21,425 per year after adjusting for inflation – $15,841 less than Baltimore County. It had 8,383 households with a population of 25,737.
