The first half of 2019: Home prices in Towson (Baltimore city County) fell

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Towson in Baltimore city County fell by $21,500 while total sales increased by 137.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $195,000 - a 9.9% decrease over the $216,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Towson in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Towson for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,728, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
