Glyndon Volunteer Fire Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 09.
It is with great sadness that Glyndon Volunteer Fire Department Announces the passing of Life Member Assistant Treasurer Emeritus J. Peter Brach Jr. Pete was an active member for 63 years and has held numerous offices. He chaired many committees including the by-laws and archive committees.
He was a great supporter of the ambulance service. Pete worked every fund raiser and helped in every way possible. He was very dedicated and gave all for the Glyndon Volunteer Fire Department. He was the Assistant Treasurer and budget preparer for 23 years.
He will be greatly missed. Details will follow as available. Please keep his family and his fire department family in your thoughts and prayers.
