Baltimore County issued the following announcement on Sep. 11.
Remembering and honoring the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001 attacks on the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and on United Airlines flight 93. Our thoughts are with those who have only memories of their treasured friends, family members and loved ones who lost their lives that day as a result of this horrific attack.
First responders: thank you for your selflessness and bravery in putting your lives on the line every day to serve others. We see you and value you.
