Former Sparrows Point High School player and current Bowie State Bulldogs pitcher, Karen Fritzges, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number eight seed against the first seeded East Stroudsburg Warriors.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
