On Monday, March 24, former McDonogh School standout Ava McKennie’s current collegiate team the Maryland Terrapins won 111-108 against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Xfinity Center, this was the first game against the Alabama Crimson Tide during the championship.

Ava McKennie’s hometown is McSherrystown and game positions are forward and guard.
