On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Eastern Technical High School standout Sydney Weaver’s college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Eastern Technical High School standout Sydney Weaver’s current college team, the Francis Marion Patriots, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wingate Bulldogs.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27 at 12 p.m. at Jimmy Martin Field against Limestone Saints.
