On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Loyola Blakefield Preparatory High School standout Wyatt Mummert’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kent State Golden Flashes.

The game took place at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field. This was their third matchup against the Golden Flashes this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field against Florida A&M Rattlers.
