On Tuesday, April 1, former Loyola Blakefield Preparatory High School standout Wyatt Mummert’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, lost 21-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
The game took place at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium against VMI Keydets.
