From the beginning, Erin Field focused her efforts and energy on staying positive. No one would blame her for being angry. But any anger she felt, after the accident that left her paralyzed, wasn’t directed at anyone or anything. She says she cried, briefly, looking at old pictures. “I just said…I’ll never do that again.” But any sense of feeling defeated was short lived. And now, the 22 year-old Somerville woman is working hard at getting stronger and more mobile.
