Report: Which Maryland counties spend the most per student?

On average, Maryland schools spend $13,966 per student, the latest Maryland Schools Report Card said.

When calculating public education funding per pupil, the Maryland State Department of Education includes all money spent on administration, instruction, special education, student services, transportation, health services, building maintenance, as well as the state's contributions to teachers' retirement and social security.
