Stevenson University issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
The Program Coordinator for Biomedical Engineering is a 10-month faculty administrator position with responsibility for leading, managing, and coordinating the Bachelor of Science degree program in Biomedical Engineering according to Stevenson University and the Fine School of the Sciences policies and procedures. Under the direction of the Dean, Fine School of the Sciences, the Program Coordinator administers the program policies and procedures and shares responsibility for the program’s accreditation by ABET by fostering a culture of assessment; continuous quality improvement; and adherence to the ABET Standards for data collection, analysis, and reporting. The Program Coordinator for Biomedical Engineering also fulfills all responsibilities of a full-time faculty member as defined in the Stevenson University Policy Manual and in the Full-Time Faculty Job Description approved by the faculty of the Fine School of the Sciences. The teaching load requirement is three-fourths of the full-time faculty teaching load (18 contact hours per calendar year).
