University of Baltimore issued the following announcement on Sept. 11.

The University of Baltimore's Digital Whimsy Lab—home base for UB students and faculty working on important questions about computers, design, and technology users—will host World Interaction Design Day - Baltimore, a roundtable discussion covering topics related to the intersection of interaction design, responsibility, and Baltimore. It will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the lobby of the H. Mebane Turner Learning Commons on the UB campus, 1415 Maryland Ave. The event is free and open to the public; tickets are available here. Seating is limited.

This event, sponsored by the University of Baltimore's UX and Interaction Design programs, localizes World Interaction Design Day, an annual global celebration led by Adobe and the Interaction Design Association of "interaction design impact on improving the human condition." Events are taking place in communities around the world on Sept. 24, including presentations, workshops, showcases for interaction design, and knowledge sharing.
