Garrison Forest School issued the following announcement on Sep. 21.
This week, we prepared for Mid-Autumn Festival by making mooncakes in the dorms and enjoying Mid-Autumn inspired foods at family style dinner. The Mid-Autumn Festival, a traditional Chinese festival that celebrates the moon and marks the end of the autumn harvest, begins today! Mooncakes are a traditional filled pastry enjoyed with family and friends during the festival.
