Garrison Forest School issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.

The GFS community came together to collect 3,300 cans for the Donald Bentley Food Pantry in Baltimore! The family of Donald Bentley, a Gilman student who tragically passed, started this pantry over 20 years ago. Every Saturday morning, the pantry is open to residents of the Loch Raven neighborhood who are in need of food.

This year, 8th Graders spearheaded the food drive as part of their signature project around food justice.
