BALTIMORE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY: This Native American Heritage Month

Baltimore County Public Library issued the following announcement on Nov. 11. 

This Native American Heritage Month, storyteller Dovie Thomason is sharing traditional stories about animals and heroes/tricksters that provide a clearer understanding of the values and cultures of the diverse First Nations of North America. Thomason draws on her own Lakota/Kiowa Apache tradition and experience working with culture-bearers of other Native nations.

We have several opportunities to hear her stories. Pick which works best for you below:

November 10, 6:30 p.m.- Arbutus

November 12, 10:30 a.m.- Cockeysville

November 12, 2 p.m.- Towson

November 26, 10:30 a.m.- Perry Hall

November 26, 2 p.m.- Essex
