Archbishop Curley High School issued the following announcement on Nov. 30.
Today marks the end of November and the SGA hosted the grand finale event for No Shave November. The Curley community was challenged to raise $3,000...and if so, several faculty & staff members volunteered to shave their beards and/or their heads. As of this morning, the Curley community has surpassed their goal, raising over $3,200, and those faculty & staff members fulfilled their promise!
We send a HUGE thank you to Coach Ireton, Mr, Muth, Mr. Billy, Mr. Ryan, Mr. Loftus, and Mr. Skarda for being such good sports and shaving for a great cause! A special thank you to our professional barbers- Mr. McGinty and Mr. Brownlee, and to the SGA members for all of their efforts bringing awareness to men's health and cancer, and supporting a Curley brother and his family in their time of need. All proceeds raised will be donated to the family of Jason Louis '17.
