Archbishop Curley High School issued the following announcement on Jan. 24.

The Curley Jazz Ensemble traveled to Towson University to participate in their annual jazz festival for local schools last Friday.

The group, under the direction of Mr. Campbell, performed for Towson’s music faculty.  Following their performance, the students worked with clinician and trumpeter, Dave Ballou.

After lunch, the group was treated to a concert by faculty members, including Curley alum, Mike Kuhl ‘95 on drums.  Students from all participating schools were then divided into sections and attended a master class for their respective instruments.
