GARRISON FOREST SCHOOL: Student volunteers helped with a stream clean-up as part of the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy’s Better Waterways fall clean-up initiative

Volunteer

Garrison Forest School issued the following announcement on Nov. 17.

Over the weekend, student volunteers helped with a stream clean-up as part of the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy’s Better Waterways fall clean-up initiative. By chance, they were spotted by Lorraine Polvinale—GFS past faculty member, past parent and current grandparent—who invited them to her nearby home for hot chocolate, cookies and a lovely afternoon.

Thank you to our students who helped out and a big thank you to Lorraine and Tom for their hospitality!
